E3 2017 doesn’t officially kick off until June 13th, but in usual EA fashion, they start the show a bit early with a party of there own. The keynote event will kick off today, June 10th, at 12:00 PM PST/3:00 PM EST and you can watch it above. But don’t expect too many surprises, as EA is a pretty predictable company.

We are going to see several sports franchises, like Madden NFL 18 and FIFA 18, the first of which is getting a few updates. Madden NFL 18 is getting a story mode and is upgrading to the Frostbite engine, both of these are new to the series. But FIFA has had them since last year, and we expect the Story Mode to get better in FIFA 18.

The title that I am most excited about and most eager to see would have to be Star Wars: Battlefront 2. And I hope that it doesn’t bring many of the same mistakes that the original did, for starters it would be good to have a Story Mode. And EA has confirmed that the title will offer one centered around a TIE Fighter Pilot. For those who want multiplayer as well, you shouldn’t be disappointed as EA promises one that spans the entire Star Wars timeline.

Last but not least EA will dive into Need For Speed Payback, updates to The Sims 4, the launch of The Sims Mobile, and potentially some upcoming games. Chances are there won’t be too many surprises, but you can expect plenty of details of already announced games.
