Samsung has already announced that their next device, most likely the Galaxy Note 8, is being announced on August 23rd. But today known leaker and technology enthusiast @evleaks gave us our first look at Samsung’s next big thing.
Yes, we have several images of the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 and right off the bat, it seems that Samsung has a missed opportunity. As the Note 8 appears to have the fingerprint sensor in the same spot as the S8 and S8+, which is next to the camera on the back. Not only is this not the most ergonomic location, but it leads to getting fingerprints on the lens.
The design overall seems similar to that of Samsung’s Galaxy S8, with a unique screen ratio that makes for a longer device. But the Note 8 will have a dual camera setup on the back along with a two-tone flash. It also has a more boxy design with an on-screen home button. This is our first look at the Galaxy Note 8, and it is likely we will get more information in the coming weeks leading up to the official unveiling.
