Verizon has just announced a big update to the FiOS Mobile App and it is rolling out to customers today. For customers who have Fios Quantum TV and Fios Internet service, you can now stream almost all of your DVR-recorded shows from anywhere via the mobile app for Google Play or the App Store. No longer are you locked into watching the content while on your Fios internet connection, you can do it from anywhere with a connection. Plus, while in your home you can watch every live TV channel from the application.
While these features began rolling out to select markets in November, they are launching in all markets today. Fits customers can download the updated mobile application from Google Play for Android and the App Store from iOS today.
Via the mobile application you can stream very channel and all of your recorded content from home, watch nearly all of the DVR-recorded programing while on the go, browse and watch thousands of on-demand titles, manage your DVR recordings, and much more.
