It would not be CES 2017 if SanDisk wasn’t releasing a new microSD card. Well keeping in that tradition SanDisk has just unveiled the 256GB SanDisk Ultra microSD card with the latest Application Performance Class 1 requirements. In laymen’s terms, this card reads and writes very fast, meaning it is a premium SD card.

You can expect transfer speeds of 95MB/s, which means using this card in your smartphone will deliver a very quick experience. So with 256GB of storage, you can bring almost anything with you, including a full 24 hours of video. This SD card is compatible with the adaptable storage or mountable storage features of Android as well. Allowing you to install applications to the microSD card and have them launch directly from it.

Sandisk’s 256GB Ultra microSD card will be launching this month, January 2017, for $199.99.
