Back in 1999, AT&T was the first carrier in the United States to offer a BlackBerry, specifically the 950. Then in 2002, they had the first two GSM BlackBerry’s the 5810 and 5820. Since then they have had the BlackBerry Torch and were launch partners when they launched the BlackBerry 10 devices. But today, BlackBerry is going back to its roots, they have officially launched the Classic. This device is kind of a throwback, brining back the full physical QWERTY keyboard that the company is known for. This is then paired with a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, a dual core processor with 2GB of RAM, and BlackBerry 10. It will be coming to AT&T sometime in 2015, but pricing and exact availability will be announced closer to when it launches.
The Classic will have 16GB of internal storage plus a micro SD card slot. There is an 8 megapixel camera on the back and a 2 megapixel lens on the front. BlackBerry is saying the Classic should get 22 hours of battery life. It is running BlackBerry 10, with features like BlackBerry Hub, the Amazon App Store, BlackBerry World, BlackBerry Messenger, and more.
