Apple just released iOS 9 on September 16th, but dropping today September 23rd is a small update. Yes, iOS 9.0.1 has arrived and it brings with it many bug fixes. Overall, iOS 9 has been a great rollout and it the fastest adoption for an iOS install yet. Chances are another record for iPhone sales will be set by the company later this week.
On an iPhone 6 the update comes in at around 35.0 megabytes and was a very smooth install, not taking up too much time at all. Apple notes that 9.0.1. fixes an issue with setting up the phone after iOS 9 finishes install. It should bring a smoother experience as well, several users noticed some minor lag with the operating system.
iOS 9.0.1 is available as an over-the-air update on your iOS device and it can also be found in iTunes.
