SanDisk usually makes a few announcements at the Consumer Electronics Show and 2016 is no different! The company is upgrading there most popular mobile flash drives. Those being the Connect Wireless Stick and the Ultra Dual USB Drive 3.0!
Over the past few years content has exploded and so have the ways that we access the content. SanDisk recognizes this and continually puts out and updates product that can make an impact on how we are get our content. When the Connect Wireless series first came out, customers and reviewers a like were blown away by it. Now, the SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick is getting a big update, it nows come in a 200GB storage size!
The Connect Wireless Stick is now SanDisk’s highest capacity mobile flash drive. It can handle storing thousands of photos and videos, all of which can be access from almost any device. It works through the SanDisk Connect app, which lets you easily manage what is on the drive and lets you access the files on the drive. This app is available for iOS, Android, Fire tablet, Macs, and PCs.
Recently, the application received an update that will let you share whats on the Stick to a larger display through an Apple TV, Google Chromecast, or the Amazon Fire TV. With the addition of Live Photos on the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, SanDisk updated the application with support for Live Photos and for 3D Touch.
Secondly, the SanDisk Ultra USB Drive 3.0 got an upgrade, it now comes in a large 128GB capacity. This is especially large when you think of the size of the Ultra USB Drive 3.0, as it is very compact and portable. One end of the drive is a USB 3.0 port and the other is micro USB port, making it a perfect accessory for any Android device. It allows you to easily transfer photos, videos, songs, and more to your smartphone or tablet. SanDisk has not just updated the storage size, but the USB 3.0 connector can now achieve speeds up to 150MB/s when transferring files.
The new 128GB SanDisk Ultra USB Drive 3.0 retails for $59.99 and the 200GB SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick comes in at $119.99. Both of these products are available now from Amazon, BestBuy, and SanDisk.com.
