Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band are wrapping up their United States leg of The River Tour. It ends tonight, April 25th 2016, at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn, but he was also there on Saturday, April 23rd 2016. At the first night of the Barclays Center run, Bruce Springsteen opened the show with Purple Rain, as a tribute to Prince who passed away last week. Springsteen said that after any Prince show he left feeling humbled and dedicated the show to him. Earlier today, Bruce Springsteen posted the audio of Purple Rain from 4/23 at the Barclays Center as a free download on his website.
The track is available for download now from his live downloads section of his website. It features the legendary E Street Band and an incredible guitar solo from the great Nils Lofgren.
