Acer’s Predator 21X Gaming laptop is absolutely crazy. It has a Curved Screen, yes a curved display on a notebook and it is a world’s first. When it ships this year, customers will be able to customize pretty much everything, and it will be incredibly advanced.

It has a 21-inch Curved IPS display with a resolution of 2560 X 1980 with 120Hz refresh rate. While this is immersive on it’s own, to take gaming to the next level it has Tobii eye tracking built-in. Powering the display are dual NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphic cards and the computer is driven by an overclockable 7th Generation Intel® CoreTM i7-7820HK processor.

For fast performance, it has 64GB of RAM, plus up to four 512GB solid-state drives in RAID 0 configuration and a separate 1TB HD. As you can imagine all of this processing power will cause the 21X to get hot, that’s why Acer has a cooling architecture consisting of five system fans.

Acer has also opted for a full-size mechanical keyboard that can be customized and its numeric keypad can be switched into a precision trackpad. Above the keyboard is a maintenance panel which gives you access to the RAM and harddrive. You can customize the graphics on the panel which pretty much anything. You also get a hardshell carrying case for the Predator 21X.

The Acer Predator 21X is an absolute beast, and it will have a high starting price tag of $8,999 in the US or €9,999 in the EMEA. But after all this computer is absolutely crazy, gamers dream come true, and pretty much future proof.
