Currently, to get the best gaming experience, especially online, you want a hard wired connection. As it can provide a faster speed of internet and is more dependable. With the current state of gaming, Virtual Reality is becoming a lot more prevalent, and more titles are being released for it. Coming to the rescue is NETGEAR which has just unveiled the Nighthawk Switch. This connects to a modem, like a Nighthawk one, to give you eight more ports.
This is ideal for computer gaming setup as it offers plenty of ports to be able to get your devices connected. It can also work to get your home entertainment system up and running that might feature a Blu-Ray player, Xbox One S, PS4 or even a Nintendo Wii. This will also provide more space on your wireless network for phones, tablets, and laptops.
The Nighthawk S8000 Switch features 8-gigabit Ethernet ports, and it hooks directly into your router. It also doesn’t look like a Switch, but rather has a very fresh and sleek design to it. The S8000 Switch is not something you’d want to hide, but rather something that can be shown off next to your consoles.
The NETGEAR Nighthawk S8000 8-port Gaming and Media Switch will be launching this March worldwide and in the US will retail for $99.
