While WWDC generally focuses in on software, Apple updated the core products in it’s Mac line today. The iMac now has Kaby Lake processors clocked at p to 4.2 GHz with Turbo Boost up to 4.5 GHz. Along with updated processors, you can now get double the RAM inside the all-in-one desktop computers. Along with this speed boost, the proprietary Fusion Drive is now standard across the 27-inch variants and the top of the line 21.5-inch model.

Along with changes to the internals of the iMac, they have also been outfitted with the latest I/O technology in the form of Thunderbolt 3 ports. The display, on both the 21.5-inch and 27-inch models, are now brighter at 500-nits. Apple has opted to upgrade the GPU to a Radeon Pro 500-series graphics with up to 8GB of VRAM.

The thin and light MacBook now features up to 1.3 GHz Core i7 with Turbo Boost up to 3.6 GHz Kaby Lake Processors from Intel. They can also have twice the amount of memory, and the SSDs inside are now 50% faster. The design has not changed even with all the new hardware inside.

And too much surprise, the new MacBook Pros which were unveiled in October, have gotten a hardware upgrade as well. The 13-inch model now features Kaby Lake processors up to 3.5 GHz Core i7 with Turbo Boost up to 4.0 GHz. While the 15-inch model is faster with up to a 3.1 GHz Core i7 with Turbo Boost up to 4.1 GHz processors. To even more of a surprise, Apple has decided to keep the Macbook Air alive and even updated the 13-inch model with a 1.8 GHz processor.

The updated Mac line, including the iMacs, MacBooks, MacBook Pros, and MacBook Airs, are available from Apple as of today.
