Apple’s WWDC 2017 opening keynote might not kick off till 10 AM PST/1 PM EST today, but attendees have been able to check in since yesterday afternoon. WWDC no longer takes place in San Fransisco, but instead, thousands of developers and Apple employees make their pilgrimage to San Jose. Those lucky few who are attending this year were greeted with a pleasant surprise at check-in.

Not only did they receive their badge, which are packed with the latest and greatest in the form of a RFID chip, but they had two other surprises in their bags. Apple’s is providing attendees with a sweet Levi’s denim jacket that has WWDC 17 printed on the chest, but they also get exclusive pins. These enamel pins are similar to the stickers that are found in the updated WWDC application for iOS.

It is always a nice surprise to see what those attending WWDC will get. And no doubt some developers will be offering up their exclusive gifts on eBay in the coming days and weeks.
