While EA finally unveiled Star Wars Battlefront II at EA Play 2017, there is still more to be done to build up hype for the title. You could say that the forthcoming release of The Last Jedi on December 15th might be enough, but EA wants to hopefully treat players right this time around. EA and developer DIC have just unleashed 4-minute look at the development of Battlefront II, specifically in regards to the single-player campaign.
This new look comes after a 12-minute look at gameplay was unveiled back with the game’s announcement. But we have also gotten sneak peaks at Disney’s D23 Expo as well. The biggest change with Battlefront II starts with a full single-player campaign, one that focuses on the bad side, or rather the rebel alliance. You will play as Iden Versio who deals with the second death star and ultimately its destruction.
And even better, the storyline will be somewhat canon and feature characters from The Force Awakens, which was a true fan pleaser. And yes will you be able to fight against Kylo Ren and Rey. EA’s Star Wars: Battlefront II will ship on November 17th, 2017 for PS4 and the Xbox One.
