I am a huge fan of the original Phone by Google, the Pixel, and Pixel XL. But we now have the successors— The Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. Core difference here is that that Pixel 2 has a 5-inch display and the Pixel 2 XL has a 6-inch display. Both are OLED and have a spectacular picture quality.
These are pure Android devices, launching with 8.0 Oreo and they will have Google Lens out of the box exclusively. The camera app is intuitive and will feature exclusive AR Stickers. Powering these devices are a Snapdragon 835 processor with 4GBs of RAM. A USB-c port is on board for charging, and you should get a full day of use from the internal batteries.
The back features an incredible 12-megapixel lens that can do Portrait Mode with one lens; we should also mention it has a DXO Score if 98. On the front, you get an 8-megapixel lens that can do portrait mode as well.
You can preorder the Pixel 2 now starting at $649 or $849 for the Pixel 2 XL. They are available unlocked or on Verizon, in a similar move to last year as well. To say the least, I am eagerly excited about the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.
