The next installment of the Jurassic World film franchise is landing this Summer and just in time are all the new licensed toys from a plethora of manufacturers. But even more important than what is sure to be a hit film is that there is finally a drone with a dinosaur on it.
Introducing the Jurassic World Pterano-Drone from Mattel. It combines the joy of a drone with a pterodactyl with wings that will actually flap. The colors look pretty authentic as well, at least with the Jurassic World franchise. And in a demo at Toy Fair 2018, the Jurassic World Pterano-Drone flew pretty well, reaching a good height and still having a solid amount of control. By no means will this compare to the DJI Mavic Air or Spark, but in terms of a nearly $100 drone, it does pretty well.
And since it is geared for children there are protectors around the blades, something that all drone enthusiasts might want to consider adding to their units. Plus, the remote control is relatively easy with knobs for direction, height, and speed. The Jurassic World Pterano-Drone will land in the coming months for $119.99.
