This is the first new hardware product to be launched, since they joined the Icontrol Networks family. The Piper nv is available today from getpiper.com and will start at $269.99, the original Piper is now just $199.
The nv in Piper nv stands for nigh vision, and this is the biggest new feature of the device. Adding on to the already sharp 180-degree lens, is the addition of being to see and monitor the space in now any light condition. The night vision feature will start atomically once it detects that the room is getting dark. Going along with this new camera feature addition, they have also doubled the resolution to 3.4-megapixels. This will make a large difference and ends with a better viewing experience. Like the original Piper, the Piper nv features customized alerts, three security modes, two-way audio, bedside mode, a loud alarm, and more. Plus, the Piper nv comes in your choice of either black or white.
