Google had a one more thing moment, the Pixel C. A new convertible Android tablet, that looks gorgeous and has no screws or hinges. It uses magnets and will allow you to hold the device in almost any way possible. There is no kick stand, the 10-inch tablet itself will attach to the keyboard via magnets. It is also adjustable from 100 to 135 degrees and the keyboard itself has a small battery. The keyboard will charge inductively when attached, in a close format, to the tablet.
The Pixel C has a 10.2-inch display with 308 pixels per inch and a 2560 X 1800 resolution. It is powered by 3GB’s of RAM and a NVIDIA X1 processor, and charges via USB C port. You can quickly check the battery life by tapping on the light bar. It is running Android 6.0 Marshmallow and will receive updates every 6 weeks.
Google will be selling the Pixel C in times for the holidays and will be sold via the Google Store. The Pixel C tablet will come in at $499, while the keyboard comes in at $149.
