Huawei has already unveiled the MediaPad M2 10.0, two new Huawei Watches, and a Gold color option for the Nexus 6P, but now they have a new smartphone to show off. Introducing the Huawei GX8, from what I can tell it seems like a mid to high range device. It features a large 5.5-inch display, a finger print sensor, and Android 5.1.
The GX8 features an aluminum uni-body design that comes in Golden, Gray, and Silver. It has a 5.5-inch Full HD TFT display with 401 pixels per inch and a resolution of 1920 X 1080. It is running Android 5.1 with a Huawei user interface running on top of it. The GX8 is powered by a 64-bit octa core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with 2GB of RAM. You will find 16GB of internal storage and a micro SD card slot. It has a 5 megapixel camera on the front and a 13 megapixel camera on the back. On the back you will find a fingerprint sensor as well.
Huawei’s GX8 will cost $349.99 when it lands in the United States during the first quarter of 2016. The GX8 will be available from Amazon.com, BestBuy, and GetHuawei.com.
