Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band just wrapped up their first night at the Barclays Centre, April 23rd 2016. The Boss and the band paid tribute to Prince, who passed away earlier this week. The band come out with the lights down and a purple glow on the stage, moments later they kicked into a cover of Purple Rain.
After playing Purple Rain, Bruce Springsteen said a few words about Prince. Saying that after any Prince show he left feeling humbled and dedicated the show to him. The lighting theme of the show stayed similar to the opening with purple hues throughout the night.
