Apple Music is getting some original content and what better place to unveil the first teaser then at the Grammys. And Apple did just that as the first teaser for Carpool Karaoke, the series is here. It is based on Jame Corden’s popular Carpool Karaoke segment on The Late Show with James Corden, but it appears to expand on it.
For starters, Mr. Corden is no longer the only driver; it appears John Legend, Metallica, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be taking the wheel as well. You can also expect to see Ariana Grande, Alicia Keys, John Cena, Blake Shelton, Shaquille O’Neal, Will Smith, and many others. Also keep in mind this is just for the first season, so you can expect this to grow.
Carpool Karaoke will be the first TV show launching exclusively on Apple Music, and it was also made in-house at Apple. It is coming soon to Apple Music, and we still don’t know when–However it does appear that tapping has wrapped and they are at least in the editing process.
