GE Lighting has already added in Apple HomeKit support for it’s C by GE bulbs and unveiled new smart products, but they are also expanding its current product line capabilities at CES 2018. For starters, the round and bright C by GE Sol Lamp will finally be receiving some updates on its Amazon Alexa capabilities.

The Sold Lamp is getting select Amazon Alexa extensions, the biggest and most wanted one being Amazon’s Echo Spatial Perception feature. This large name means that it can work in conjunction with other Alexa devices that might be in your home and sync with them. GE Lighting is also opening it up to a select few third-party extensions like Spotify and SiriusXM allowing you for music listening options.

In addition to adding Apple HomeKit compatibility to it’s C by GE bulbs with the new C-Reach bridge, they are doing some unification across the product line. From now on, the entire C by GE portfolio will be compatible with Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, and the Google Assistant. This builds off of GE Lighting’s motto of appeal and trying to best serve the personal preferences of there customers.
