Bang & Olufsen is known for there great audio products and visual products, but today they have just announced a new collaboration. Together B&O and HEADs Innovation, an entertainment company, will be making new customized product lines or collections. Specifically it will be the B&O Play product line from Bang & Olufsen that will be taking part in this unique partnership. While they will have many collaborators in the future, they have announced DJ Kahled as the first.
You may be wondering why DJ Kahled was chosen, will first off his a renowned DJ and is represents the DNA of the HEADS Innovation. As Henrik Taudorf Lorensen, the VP of B&O Play, is that while the B&O brand is only two years old it has already gained a large following and that this new collaboration will be bringing an extra dimension to the portfolio. Direct from DJ Kahled himself, he states that he takes time and in crafting a sound and wants the best quality sound on the planet, going further and saying that if you embark on this journey with him, that you won’t be disappointed.
You can see prototypes of the headphones in DJ Kahled’s newest music video for “They Don’t Love You No More”, which is a title that he teamed up with Jay-Z on. The headphones featured will be fine tuned when they come to market, at a later stage. While we don’t know much about the headphones yet, they will be optimized for DJ listening, a tuned sound profile, and unique hardware. B&O PLAY by Bang & Olufsen and HEADS Innovation are proud to announce their unique audio product partnership.
Global hitmaker DJ Khaled will be the first collaborator, inspiring a special DJ edition of B&O PLAY headphones. This unique hardware design, which kicks off a series of customized product collections featuring top artists, combines the technical and audio expertise of HEADS and B&O PLAY with the experience and artistry of a renowned DJ and producer to create premium headphones tailor made with the sound DJ’s love.
”This is a unique collaboration between a world class brand and a world class artist,” says Madeline Nelson, founder and CEO of HEADS Innovation, whose Audio division in cooperation with B&O PLAY conceived and customized the products.
Why DJ Khaled for this inaugural collection? Because this multi-platinum ”King of Anthems,” who recently teamed up with rap icon Jay Z on the song ”They Don’t Love You No More,” represents all that is authentic, trailblazing and true to the DNA of the HEADS Innovation.
