Acer has just unveiled a new smartphone for customers in Europe, Middle East, and Asia. Introducing the Liquid Z410 4G smartphone, a device that Acer is calling a small powerhouse. They have combined 4G LTE connectivity, long battery life, and 64-bit processors in their latest smartphone. The goal with the Liquid Z410 is to make speed and power available to all consumers, it features 64-bit quad-core processor and 4G LTE connectivity. This is combined together for a fast experience on the device. For graphics, the Liquid Z410 is powered by a Mali-760 graphic chip which should provide a seamless graphic experience and a smooth user interface. They are estimating around 5.5-hours of talk time and 400 hours of stand. The Z410 has a 4.5-inch IPS qHD display with 245 pixels per inch. There is a 2 megapixel lens on the front for selfies and a 5 megapixel rear shooter.
The back of the Liquid Z410 features a Acer Rapid key, which will allow you customize what action will occur when you touch the button. It is adding another layer of personalization to the device, as Acer points out. Depending on which way you swipe open your device on the home screen, you can launch different applications, this is known as QuickTouch. Similar to the easy modes that we have seen from LG and Samsung, Acer offers QuickMode which overlays a simple user interface on top of the Android operating system.
The Acer Liquid Z410 will be landing in EMEA countries at the end of February 2015 and will retail for a starting price of €129. The 4.5-inch IPS qHD display(1) with 245 ppi definition ensures selfies taken with the 2MP 80° wide-angle front camera will appear crystal clear. The rear camera features a 5 MP Autofocus snapper and LED Flash. It is one of the major points Acer focused when developing the Liquid Z410: boasting a brand-new user interface, it enables quick settings and different modes for taking pictures. Furthermore, it comes with several pre-installed modes that make capturing memories easier than ever: Presentation mode optimizes note-taking by converting pictures of a sheet of paper or a screen into .jpg, .pdf or .ppt files; Dual Shot lets users make collages of simultaneous shots or videos from the front and rear cameras for Picture-in-Picture and Video- in-Video. Finally, the Liquid Z410’s camera is voice commanded, so that users can focus on their subjects rather than logistics: simply say “Cheese” for a photograph to be taken, or “Selfie” to switch to the front camera and shoot after a three-second countdown!
