Aisha Tyler plays the role of Lana Kane on Archer, and last season she became a mother. Tonight at 10PM on FX, Archer Season 6 will be premiering and it is absolutely amazing, unfortunately we can’t talk to much about it until our review drops later this evening. But earlier this week we had the chance to speak with Aisha, about the new season. Check out my full interview with Aisha Tyler on Season 6 of Archer below!
Q- Lana is now a mother and dropping this in the last episode was quite the cliff hanger. What can we expect this upcoming season?
A-She’ll be dealing with what all working mothers deal with on an everyday basis — trying to secure quality day care, reprioritizing career goals, finding personal balance, co-parenting with an alcoholic sex-addicted jackass, and trying not to get shot at while she’s breast feeding. So you know, every day mom stuff.
Q-Will there be a new dynamic between Lana and Archer, with the new parental roles being taken on?
A-There will be a lot of new dynamics between Lana and Archer. This season is going to be very dynamic for them indeed. Dynamism. No spoilers!
Q-Will the baby be brought along on any missions?
A-I sincerely hope not. That would be really irresponsible. I don’t think they make kevlar vests that small.
Q-What are you most excited about for Season 6?
A-Getting back in the field. And Mommy and Me ordnance classes.
