Lenovo is back with another smartphone, but this time this mobile device has a trick up it’s sleeve or rather on the front. The VIBE S1 Lite is smartphone that was designed to take selfies in the dark, yes it has a built-in Selfie-Flash on the front. For those users who constantly use social media and are always Snapchatting, this might just be the smartphone for you.
The front of the VIBE S1 Lite has an 8 megapixel with a Sony Image Sensor and built-in Selfie-Flash. Now this flash is designed to increase the amount of light that is captured. Lenovo has also coined the word “groupie” in a different sense, in that with a panorama mode for the front camera you can take a group selfie and capture everyone. On the back you will also find a 13 megapixel camera with a dual LED flash.
Android 5.1 Lollipop is pre-loaded onto the VIBE S1 Lite and has a Lenovo user interface running on top of it. It is powered by a 64-bit MTK 6753 octa-core 1.3GHz processor with 2GB of RAM. You will find 16GB of internal storage but you can expand it by another 32GB with a micro SD card. The display a 5.0-inch IPS Wide View with a resolution of 1920 X 1080. It features a 2700mAh non-removable battery and dual SIM slots. The VIVE S1 Lite will come in your choice of Pearl White or Midnight Blue.
The sad news here is that the VIBE S1 Lite will not becoming to the United States, but it will be going to countries where Lenovo smartphones are sold and will retail for around $199.99. Good news here is that it might be possible to import one when it launches early this year.
