EA is expanding Origin by adding a new gaming membership service for the PC. Introducing Origin Access, will provides users an eventual endless library of titles to play, whenever they would like too. At launch they have 15 games including Battlefield 4 and The Sims 3. It has just launched in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Germany; more countries will be rolled out soon.
Origin Access comes in at $4.99USD/€3.99/£3.99GBP a month and this will give you access to the entire library. For now this only available for PC gamers, no word on if this will be expanding. EA has divided Origin Access up into some different features, Play More is where you can download and play full versions of the games. Play First will allow you to get exclusive and early access to EA’s PC games before they are release, plus if you decide to buy the title your stats and progress will carry over. With Play Less you will get 10% off on your Origin purchases, including games and DLC packs.
