Apple’s great iOS 10 launch has come and gone, but the technology giant is prepping iOS 10.1. This small update will bring the much-anticipated depth effect for photos to the iPhone 7 Plus. And like most other iOS updates, it will bring performance and speed improvements as well.
iOS 10.1 Beta 2 is now rolling out as an over-the-air update to registered developers. It can also be downloaded as an IPSW from Apple’s Developer website. It seems that beta 2 of iOS 10.1 is focusing in on Messages. It brings the ability to replay iMessage effects and cleans up the Messages application draw.
Apple should release iOS 10.1 to all iOS users at some point in the coming weeks.
