During Samsung’s 2016 Consumer Electronics Show press conference, the company highlighted several new mobile products. Including a new Galaxy TabPro S and two new color options for the Gear S2 Classic. Samsung also announced that they will add iOS support to the Gear S2 later this year!

This is some exciting news, in that Samsung is keeping its promise to have an open eco system. They will be opening up the Samsung Gear S2 to non Android customers, specifically for those who have iPhones. Android Wear added iOS compatibility earlier this year as well.

Samsung has not given an exact time frame, but the Gear S2 will support iOS come later this year.
