ZTE is not just launching a community sourced mobile phone project, but they are making some updates to previously announced services. Introducing  Axon Passport 2.0, an update to the two-year protection plan for Axon smartphones. Keep in mind that this is a consumer assurance and support program that is provided for free when you get an Axon smartphone. Axon Passport 2.0 builds on the features of the Passport 1.0 program.

Axon Passport 2.0 is now giving Axon phone users unlimited out of warranty repairs and total assistance for the device. This assistance include device upgrades, replacement, shipping, and setup. ZTE’s protection plans certainly differentiate themselves from other smartphone makers and this update to the program creates even more waves in the industry.

ZTE did not extend Passport 2.0 any longer, but you now get unlimited out of warranty repairs for a full two years. This includes issues like water damage and cracked screens, even better there is absolutely no limit into the amount of requests made for this repairs. Even better you will not have to pay for shipping when your device goes in for repair with the Passport 2.0 program.

This total assistance extends towards any ZTE customer looking to upgrade from an unlocked ZTE device to an Axon phone will now be able to apply for a $100 credit to use towards he or she’s new phone. For customers who currently have an Axon phone, ZTE will issue a $100 credit towards a replacement Axon phone that was lost or stolen during international travel.
