Acer not only showed off new tablets, laptops, and all-in-ones, but they did have a few surprises in store at there NYC event today. They have done very well in the Chromebook space, especially with providing them for education. Today they teased and showed off a new Chromebook that features an Intel Core I3 Processor! Currently the only other Chromebook that comes to this is the Chromebook Pixel that has a Intel CORE i5 Ivy Bridge processor. Acer is saying or at least their new CEO and Chairman Jason Chen said that it will be the powerful Chromebook on the market. Not much else is known about this device, it is going to be part of the Acer C720 line of Chromebooks. It will most likely feature an 11-inch display, a small amount of internal storage, the same build quality, and more. As soon as more information about the Acer Chromebook with an Intel Core I3 Processor is available, we will bring it to you!
