Huawei is having there 2016 Consumer Electronics Show press event right now, and they have just announced that the Nexus 6P will now come in a gold color option. This now expands the color options to four, while Graphit, Aluminum, and Frost are still available. The Nexus 6P was announced last Fall with the Nexus 5X by Google, and it was there two flagship Nexus smartphones for the year.
The Nexus 6P coming in Gold shows a sign of the time, and shows that this color option really is taking off. The Gold variant of the Nexus 6P will come in 32GB or 64GB storage sizes and will be available starting today January 5th from BestBuy and the Google Store. These storage sizes are important, as you will not be able to get a Gold Nexus 6P with 128GB of storage.
It still has all of the great features of the Nexus 6P including 2GHz Qualcomm® SnapdragonTM 810; Octa-core, a 5.7-inch AMOLED display, a clean version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow, an 8 megapixel camera on the front, a 12.3 megapixel camera on the back, a 3450mAh battery, and more.
