Google I/O is going back to its roots and back to where the companies main base is. Yes, I/O 2016 is going to be in Mountain View CA, more specifically it will at the Shoreline Amphitheater. This is right around Silicon Valley and where much of the magic happens in the technology industry.
I/O is regularly held at Moscone West in San Fransisco CA, but this year it will be in and around the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View. Google’s CEO, Sundar Pichai announced this location change on Twitter earlier this morning, but he also let us know when the developer conference will be taking place.
May 18th through May 20th are the planned dates for I/O 2016, no word on when tickets will become available or any specifics on the schedule. But all of this will be coming soon as we approach Google I/O’s May 18th 2016 start date.
